Day 4: Rain, Rain, Go Away

I finally slept through the night and woke up warm! BEST FEELING EVER! We made our oatmeal and coffee and were quickly on the road to the Johnson Canyon Upper Falls. It was a quick and beautiful 5km trail along waterfalls.

Right after the walk we headed over to a cafe to do some studying. We lucked out because some of our friends were travelling through Banff for the day. We got to procrastinate our studying and instead meet up with them to explore Banff. We then went back to our campsite to get ready for a night out. Because it was rainy and cold we had to make impromptu outfits to replace our adorable sun dresses. What was expected to be a few casual drinks and food before heading back into our freezing cold tent (we literally packed our pjs in the car), ended in a unknown number of tequila shots and sleeping in her cousins toasty warm hotel room. Success!
