Eagle Canyon: Canada’s Longest Suspension Bridge

On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, on one of the last days of summer, I decided it was time to pay visit to both Eagle and Ouimet Canyon. It dawned on me that I had never actually gone on the suspension bridge at Eagle Canyon despite living only an hour away. I’ve travelled across the world see incredible sights yet I’ve been missing some of the most beautiful ones in my very own backyard. Needless to say, I was very excited.

Eagle Canyon

It cost $20 to get into the park as an adult, and an extra $60 if you want to do the zipline. More info visit: http://www.eaglecanyonadventures.ca

Totally worth the money.

Ouimet Canyon

The two canyons are just 10 minutes apart, so it’s definitely worth paying visit to them both. Unlike Eagle Canyon, you can drive up to the top of the canyon and see its views for free. There is a nice and easy 2km trail at the top with lookouts along the way.
